Swinging On A Star was written by Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van
Heusen. Originally made popular by Bing Crosby, Bing's Academy Award-winning
hit from Going My Way was recorded Feb. 7, 1944, with the Williams
Brothers, among whom was 13-year-old Andy Williams. This recording again
features actor John Lithgow on lead vocals supported by the Bill Elliott
Swing Orchestra. The backing vocals are provided by the BESO vocal group,
Bill's Lucky Stars, of which Cassie is the sole female member.
